This item has so much useful information in it. I only wish the pictures would be in color. But the information in it is well worth the money
The bible for lapidary. Classic still to this day. Some parts are a bit dated but the bulk of it is pure gold.
The best compilation of techniques available in English. A bit obsolete, but is the reference I use and the guide I give to my students for teaching the craft. (And I will continue to give them away. as long as I can obtain reasonably priced, used copies via Amazon.)
John Sinksnkas has is one of the leadingauthorities on the lapidary arts ." Gen Cutting"while several decades old , there is much in the amateur lapidary arts that remains unchanged and his writing are still valuable guides. All of his books are highly recommended and are a must for anyone seriously interested in the field.
